Firomar had the TH10 specially built for the North American market, modeled after the initiatives being taken in Europe. The TH10 molds EPS/GPS into and over steel frames, completely eliminating thermal bridging. The TH10 is the largest EPS/GPS mold in the world. 

The name of this equipment is TH10 because its internal length is 10 meters (30ft). This machine has the ability to cast EPS/GPS pieces to an approximate maximum dimension of 30x12x1 ft., with a cycle time of about 4-5 minutes. The TH10 was custom built in Italy by a team of engineers, and took 2 years to be manufactured. With the completely specialized components that our machine has, it is unlike any other.

The TH10 is a huge piece of equipment, weighing in at approximately 155,000 lbs. It has mechanisms so that its “internal moving walls” can change the internal mold dimensions, unlike any other EPS/GPS mold.
